Our Story
When I first saw her that Thursday, I thought to myself: What a beautiful, sweet girl.
Nothing more, nothing less.
But with each passing week it became clear
That my God was her God too
And He was transforming her life in the same way
I realized that her beauty was deeper than skin
And her sweetness came from Jesus shining within
And when temptation tried to pull me away
God used her words to keep me from going astray
And our friendship grew steadily day-by-day
Until New Year’s Eve when I heard her pray
So pray for her I did, and God let me see
That beautiful, sweet girl had been fashioned from me
His steadfast love for us will never fail
I cannot wait to remove your veil...
